PTCA Climbers: Palm Tree Climbing Safety Course
PTCA is proud to introduce the inaugural PTCA Climbers event, formerly known as UTCA, with a full day focused on palm tree climbing safety.
Join us on October 10, 2026, at Kit Carson Park in Escondido, this bilingual English/Spanish program will feature demonstrations and instruction from experienced climbers and industry professionals. Attendees will gain practical insight into palm tree inspection, workplace safety, proper equipment selection, climbing techniques, and aerial rescue procedures.
Featured instructors include Joe Wurzel, Vicente Cortez, Ricardo Vazquez, Martin Morales, and Javier Quiroz.
This program is designed as a demonstration-based learning experience, giving attendees the opportunity to observe proven techniques, hear directly from experienced climbers, and strengthen their understanding of safe palm tree work.
