Trees Are Good – Great public tree information site from the International Society of Arboriculture.  It also has a tool to find certified arborists in your area by zip code.

Western Chapter International Society of Arboriculture – A society of professional arborists and those interested in arboriculture. They promote research and education to advance the professional practice of arboriculture in Arizona, California, Hawaii and Nevada.

International Society of Arboriculture – Through research, technology, and education, the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) promotes the professional practice of arboriculture and fosters a greater worldwide awareness of the benefits of trees.

Arbor Day Foundation – Inspire people to plant, nurture and celebrate trees.

California Urban Forest Council – The nation’s oldest urban forest council…sustaining and expanding California’s urban forests to make our communities healthier and stronger.  You may also be interested in their San Diego Council’s website.

California ReLeaf – Empower grassroots efforts and build strategic partnerships that preserve, protect, and enhance California’s urban and community forests.  They’re a great network of tree planting organizations throughout the state. 

Trees San Diego - Local non-profit that works to benefit San Diego County’s 18 cities, unincorporated areas, military bases and Native American reservations to make our region a healthier place to live, work and play.
