About our speaker - Mark graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Environmental Planning and Management, specializing in Landscape Architecture and Landscape Management. With over 40 years of experience in the landscape industry, he has worked in various roles including gardener, landscape contractor, business consultant, landscape architect, and consulting arborist. Mark has served in leadership roles for several organizations, including the California Landscape Contractors Association and San Diego People for Trees. He has also been involved in community tree planting, habitat restoration, and education programs in California and Mexico. Mark is a respected expert in community forest management and tree protection plans for construction projects. His expertise has been shared through lectures and presentations to industry professionals and community groups.
