OUR MISSION is to improve our community’s quality of life by making our urban forest safer and more beautiful through education and proper tree care.

As a member of the arboricultural community, you are invited to join our organization and help fulfill this mission.

Educational meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of each month. During the summer months, arboricultural tours are featured. Please check your monthly newsletter for information. CEUs will be available!

COMMUNITY

PTCA cares about San Diego and our wonderful trees. If you spot a tree in need of help, or a park that could use our expertise, please let us know.

EDUCATION

The more you know about trees, the more you’ll appreciate them. We’re delighted to educate your organization or school on the complexity, contribution to the environment, proper care, and beauty of trees.

ENVIRONMENT

Trees contribute to their environment by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate amelioration, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife. During the process of photosynthesis, trees take in carbon dioxide and produce the oxygen we breathe.
